WE LEAD.
Not through volume or ego, but through example. We become the standard we want our children to carry forward.
Fatherhood is not a favor.
Presence is the job. Leadership is the standard. Love is the work.
WE LEAD. WE TEACH. WE BUILD.
The mission
Changing diapers is not babysitting. Making dinner is not “helping out.” Knowing your child’s fears, friends, dreams, and favorite terrible joke is not extra credit.
It is fatherhood. The Present Dad Project challenges passive parenting and helps fathers lead with attention, humility, consistency, and love.
Meet the founder
Author. Speaker. Father. Builder.
TM Moore is a father raising a daughter, an author, speaker, IT professional, and photographer based in St. Louis, Missouri. He created The Present Dad Project to challenge low expectations of fathers and make active, emotionally available fatherhood the standard.
His work does not ask men to perform perfection. It asks them to pay attention, take responsibility, repair mistakes, support their families, and keep showing up.
Dads Don’t Babysit is his first solo book. He is also a contributing author in The Anthology of US: Through His Eyes and speaks on fatherhood, personal development, legacy, and community leadership.
“The goal is not to look like a great father. The goal is to do the work of becoming one.”
The fatherhood standard
Your children do not need a flawless father. They need one who keeps showing up, owns his mistakes, and grows where they can see it.
Not through volume or ego, but through example. We become the standard we want our children to carry forward.
We listen before lecturing. We explain, apologize, encourage, and turn ordinary moments into lifelong lessons.
Trust. Confidence. Character. Memories. A legacy is not what we leave behind; it is what we build into them.
The upcoming book
Honest, practical, and grounded in real life, Dads Don’t Babysit is for fathers who want to be more present without pretending to be perfect.
